Tervetuloa! We are Nordic Privé. Most of our team is based in Finland and we plan private journeys across Lapland, Lakeland, Helsinki and the archipelago, in every month of the year, for travel advisors and tour operators. If your client wants more than one country, we can take the journey across the Nordics too.
You know what it is to hand a client to a DMC and wait for the reply. So do we. We have spent decades on the agency side, choosing DMCs around the world, working alongside them and calling on them when something went wrong. What counted every time was how quickly they answered and how they behaved under pressure. When you trust us with a VIP client, we know what you are putting on the line. Our guides in Finland and our regional partners are chosen on the same terms.
We love the art of travel, and we are proud to share the experiences of our home regions with new friends and guests. No trip is ever the same, and we take great pleasure in the chance to be creative — curating, shaping, building, connecting and reinventing. This sector never gets old. While some places grow stale, exciting new possibilities open elsewhere. Travel is transformative when it is done right.
Extensive agency-side experience on the team.

We are the tour operator on the ground, and your clients never need to know we exist. Send us a brief and we will build the programme behind it: accommodation, transfers, guides, permits, meals, activities, the finer details and support around the clock, all handed to you to present under your own name. You keep the client relationship. We drive the roads, hold the rooms, and answer the phone at night when a flight is delayed.
Our team is made up of senior Finland and Nordic luxury travel experts with decades of experience. We have hosted many VIPs and HNWIs for whom security, privacy and confidentiality matter a great deal.
Tailor-made FIT and private-group programmes, costed and built from scratch around what your client wants.
Wilderness cabins and private houses that never appear on a booking site. We reach them through people we know.
We know people who know people. We can match you with the right experts and the right hosts to take a journey to a more personal level.
Confirm and pay the deposit, and we start booking the rooms, guides and permits. The client relationship stays yours.
Our team runs the programme on the ground with support 24 hours a day. Your travellers deal with our guides, and we call you if anything needs a decision.

Our busiest region and the base for most winter programmes. Four or five nights is enough for two aurora attempts, a husky day and a reindeer farm without rushing anyone.

The Christmas one. Two nights is usually plenty, and we run the Santa side privately and early in the day to stay ahead of the coaches.

For clients who want something different every day, and for families with a range of ages. Combines well with Inari if they also want a few quiet nights.

Skiing or walking all day with almost nobody about. Quieter than Levi, and an hour further from the airport, so plan the arrival carefully.

The far north. This is where we send clients who want Sámi culture and dark skies rather than lifts and restaurants.

Bears, mainly. Hide nights run through the summer, and clients almost always want a night either side for the forest and the rivers.

A slow summer week in a private villa with its own sauna and a boat. Works best with two nights in Helsinki at one end.

Private sailing and island dining, inside a season of about ten weeks and very little outside it. Book this one early.

Where almost every Finland programme starts or ends. Two nights covers design, dinner and a sauna before the flight north.
We operate in all twelve months: spring snow, the midnight sun and the ruska autumn as well as the aurora season. The shoulder months are quieter and the rates are better.
Aurora season. Glass igloos, husky and reindeer sledding, Santa in Rovaniemi. Lapland sits between −10°C and −30°C, and around midwinter there are only a few hours of blue twilight instead of daylight.
Finnish Lapland →Snow holds in the north through April, with twenty hours of daylight on it, and rates come down. The Lakeland ice breaks up during May, so leave the south until later.
Levi →North of the Arctic Circle the sun does not set for weeks. Sauna, swimming, archipelago sailing and bear hides, and mosquitoes in July. Very few international clients, and the lowest rates of the year.
Read: Finland in summer →Ruska lasts two or three weeks in September, the aurora returns once the skies are dark again, and the first snow falls in Lapland in November. A good window for repeat clients.
Read: Finland in autumn →Our team has driven these roads, stayed in these cabins and run these programmes. That is how we know which road becomes impassable in a thaw, and which guide to call at −30°C when a family with a four-year-old needs a shorter day.
We work with the travel trade only. A small, experienced team in Finland that answers the phone.
Finland is where we are based and the country we operate directly. Very few clients want only one country, so fly them into Helsinki, run Lapland for a few nights, then take them on to the Tromso, Lofoten Islands or down to Stockholm. We plan and coordinate the whole itinerary, and the ground handling outside Finland is done by local partners we have vetted and use season after season.
For you that means one point of contact, one set of documents and one invoice, however many borders the itinerary crosses. We do the cross-border planning.
A destination management company is your operator on the ground. We contract the accommodation, local partners, guides, vehicles, permits and activities, build the day-by-day programme, and coordinate it in-destination while your client is travelling. Everything is presented under your own brand if you wish.
Nordic Privé works exclusively through b2b partners who are travel advisors, tour operators, incentive houses and cruise lines. Your traveller will not find our rates online.
Yes. Beyond Finland we cover Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland, Denmark & the Baltic countries. Finland is the one we run ourselves; elsewhere we build the itinerary and manage it end to end, with partners we have used for years handling the ground. Everything still comes through us.
Yes. Winter is the busiest season but not the only one we operate. Summer and the shoulder months bring far fewer international visitors, so guides and properties that are unavailable in February are open in June, usually at better rates. Booking lead times are shorter too.
Christmas and New Year in Lapland need six to twelve months for the better properties, and the glass-roofed inventory goes first. February to April and the September ruska weeks are shorter-notice but still worth booking early. Summer in the Lakeland and the archipelago is the most flexible window. Nothing is ever guaranteed until it is confirmed.
Nordic Privé is Finnish owned and operated destination management company registered in Finland. We are the inbound department of Mandala Travel a pioneering Finnish tour operator with close to 20yrs experience of long haul travel to exotic destinations worldwide. The company is fully bonded, and in register of KKV 'matkanjärjestäjät' tour operators.
Our private villas, signature experiences and partner rates sit behind a password, and approved trade partners get a login. We keep it closed to protect our clients' privacy, and because some of these places would rather not be listed anywhere.
Nordic Privé works with the travel trade only — luxury tour operators, agencies and independent travel designers. We never sell direct, and we keep the partner list short so every programme is handled by someone experienced.
Approved partners get the private catalogue, the properties that never reach a booking site, and one named Finland specialist who gets to know how you work.
